However I have had another look at the parish record, you could likely be correct - not totally convinced but that maybe my looking for something deeper or just cynicism! :) Nonetheless appreciate your input.

Hi all,

Just found you guys looks good thank you.

My 11th great grandfather John Davey was possibly buried in Chittlehampton Devon May 1665 - the burial record has an abbreviation after his and most others names which I think is tha or the or something like *ha/e anybody have any ideas on what this may mean please. So far my research is showing not a lot.
