 My 3 gr. grandmother, Sarah Goodfellow, born 1817 in New York, came to Ontario, Canada with her parents ?? After the death of her parents went to live with a sister ? in St Catharine, Ontario.
Sarah married James Welch in 1835 at Zorra, Ontario, raising a family there. She later moved to Norwich, Ontario and married Lindley Moore Webster, died in 1898 at Norwich. No parents listed on her marriage records or death record.
Any assistance greatly appreciated

Hi ! Not ignoring you- just leaving for the wedding- will have a good look at everything when I get home
Keep searching and we will compare. Sometimes you have to work sideways- so do have some info on Donald & Margaret

Jeanne Stevenson- 21- married David Cooper Wylie- 24. June 9th, 1933 at Shettleston, Lanark, Scotland- if not will copy info for you

Hi ! I don't really want to put my tree on Ancestry- too many people copy it. 
Will have to figure out  how to e mail my records to you- must be a way- will do some checking.

I have Ancestry- but my tree's not updated there- there is an old one under McPhee- I use Family Tree Maker and could send forward a copy of my McKay tree- don't know how on Roots Chat.
Donald McKay & Mary Hart- my 2 gr. grandparents ( paternal)
Donald  McKay ( Margaret Love ) my gr. gr uncle
Mary Hart McKay ( Charles) - 1st cousin twice removed- I'd say that was my 3 cousin ?? I'd have to check that out- must be more !
My gr grandmother, Margaret Taylor McKay ( McPhee ) and Donald were siblings. so we are cousins of some sort.
I have some pictures that are suppose to be McKays- cousin in Scotland gave them to me- think they were taken in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
Dougald another brother immigrated there.

Hi ! Yes, I'm on Ancestry- would appreciate seeing your tree- maybe I can fill some blanks.
I'll be away for about a week, granddaughter getting married- but will have my IPad with me.

Hi ! Donald McKay was the son of Donald McKay & Mary Hart from Shettleston, Lanark Scotland- married Margaret Love.
Mary Hart McKay married Charles Stevenson 1904 in Shettleston
My gr, g. mother, Margaret Taylor ( McKay ) McPhee was  a daughter of Donald & Mary's- sister to Donald.
Willing to share info.
