A bit late but you can see Pioneer Cottage here - I used to walk past it all the time! I think its still owned by the Gallagers of Caerwys (well known family who I'm sure wouldn't mind if you contacted them!) The property directly opposite that house was a newsagents until a few years back - when the store moved around the corner - Will may know more about the old property (http://willsofcaerwys.co.uk/)

You could get in touch with Caerwys Town Council who may have someone with older pics I know theres a few who have researched a lot of history of the town! http://www.caerwys-town.com/
