Thanks for that cristeen I was give a coat of arms of wicks and bethal  the bethal one is spot on but the wicks one is not even close to the  one I have looked into

So my family tree  my surname wicks changes to wickes some where around 1760/80 and there are loads of wickes and wicks in the 5 villages from 1681 onwards where or how do you start seeing if they are all family ☺

Hi is there any way of looking at parish records online with out having to pay ??
Trying to look for records before 1675 Hertfordshire villages Codicote / aldenham /Redbourn /ayot st Lawrence and Kimpton  family name in all of them  but I definitely know Codicote and ayot st Lawrence are in my tree
