We do have a Norman but he was born 1900.  However we are still researching who his sisters married  and if I come across a Bell or Chisholm I shall let you know.  He had 8 sisters so it may take me a while!!!!!  Jess

Hi Granger,  Did you know if N sword was male or female???  It sounds quite possible that there is a connection,  especially since they all lived in Heaton.  We had an Aunty Nelly (still trying to figure out what her real name would have been).  The sword family we are researching has 15 children one of whom is my grandmother yet we cant find any living connections as yet!!!

His parents were born in Newcastle area and never left the country.  Has anyone any ideas as to why heis the only child with this title ???

Wow bonus information too.  The two great aunts Bella and Nellie lived in Heaton when I was very very young and the flat was in a time warp maybe it was the same address.  Apparently one of the aunts husbands died the last day of the lst world war.  His ship was torpedoed.  How sad!!!!! :'( Jessy

Hi friends,  I must apologise for not getting back my BT land line went down Friday morning and has just been mended today.  Sorry Willow I see what you ment about Anthonys parents  coming from Cumbria - once I saw your 1851 census I realized you were right.  Is there any page numbers for his birth cert so that I can try and order it again????  There must be a record of it somewhere,  Thanks again to the three of you for your help and sorry about not being able to respond to your posts until now.  Jess
