Hello Cee_Gee.
You have probably solved the mystery of Robert Widley by now but I thought you may be interested to know that I  have been researching this name for a friend in Canada for over a year now. Having gathered a lot of documentary evidence I believe that you are one of his long lost cousins. He descends from George E Widley who went to Canada in 1914. I am at present extending the research for him, with the intent of establishing contact with relatives of his in this country. There seem to be quite a few. Is there any interest in this project for you?
Delbois.

I am the granddaughter of George E Widley. :) I can not believe I stumbled across this post!
