Thanks for the wiki link, good info about his rugby career but no personal info. Iv tried to google him but nothing. Iv also looked at the 1939 register but with no info to cross reference with im unsure.
I found his name today in a Hull Kr book today.
His uncle Alfred Carmichael played for them too, Im assuming that Andrew's dad is a brother of Alfred but I have no other info.

Good evening,

Im looking for help in locating the parents/siblings of Andrew Carmichael, he was born in either 1901 or 1902. He died on 5th Nov 1963. He apparently played for both Hull Kr & Hull FC back in the 1920's/1930's.

Thank you

Yes, that looks like them, I had Arthur Bitton on a census in 1911 for a ship called ss dagenham, aged 47. I was sent that info from a diving historical society. How strange ! Everything else fits in the "Britton" entry apart from Arthur's place of birth which was Norfolk, I have his birth certificate.
Thanks for all the help
 :)

Happy New year to you all,

I am having no joy in finding an entry for the 1911 census for my gt gt grandmother Annie K Bitton, she lived in Hull and I have looked and looked and cannot find her, she should have some family living with her but I'm not sure who.
Her husband is at sea.
In the 1901 census she lived at 1 west end, Queens dock in Hull.
Can anyone help me please ?
Thanks in advance

Good evening,

Can anyone help with the following please ?
Harriet Yates nee Carmichael is on the 1911 census states she has had 8 children born, 3 living at the time of the census and 5 deceased. We have worked out that she had at least one child before she was married which died. All that we have found are buried in Hedon Road Cemetery.  Her husband was called Robert William Yates. Altogether we have discovered 3 deceased children and are missing 2.
Can anyone help with locating them or have an idea of how to locate them.
The deceased children we have found are
Elsie C Carmichael
Gertrude Yates
James William Yates
Thanks in advance
