Thanks for your reply. From what I know from my family and my research so far. Your Horatio Thomas Holmes is my Grandma's brother. My Grandma Ida May Holmes married my Grandfather Leonard Radley who was also from Beverley. They had one daughter Jean.

Yes Ida May is my Grandmother.

Horatio Thomas b 1886
James Henry b 1891
Blanche Elizabeth b 1893
and as you mentioned
Lewis b 1897
Donald b 1903

I think Lewis Holmes maried Esther Andrews from Swanland

George Holmes became the landlord of the Barrel Inn Walkington in 1901

Hi I am a descendent of George Holmes who was a blacksmith in Beverley east Yorkshire.
My Grandma Ida May, was his daughter. I still live in Beverley and wondered who may also be dependents of this family.

Hi I am related to Horatio Thomas Holmes, he was my Grandma's Brother. My Grandma was Ida May Holmes. I live in Beverley and have often been in The Barrel Pub in Walkington. I have never seen that photo before.
