I am French (68yrs old) and I am not familiar with the British sites. In France, the registers are free and accessible by internet.

In the meantime, I got an Excel sheet of all the birth/marriage/death of the village of Barrow Upon Soar.
Your information about the age at death (85) of my "grand-mother" is correct. I just do not understand how you got it through the GRO without the birth and the death date and did you get it for granted ?

By the way, the registers are free in France, not in GB !

I am also interested in Samuel Barsby & Sarah Chapman.
Did you get the copy of their marriage presumably on April 15th, 1796 ?
I have almost the same Barsby tree than Peter Barsby but on the French side.
Samuel Barsby is level 5 for me.
Please, tell me if you have any news/details of Peter Barsby. He is the Barsby gourou. Unfortunately, I could not attend his big family meeting in Calais a few decades ago.
