Thank you Maidenstone. No I had not seen this. Very interesting and puts some different slants on some of the research I have been doing. It may take me off in a different direction. I had not expected this and yet..........

Family history brings some surprises!!!!!
Would this be the John Richardson married to Mary from Portugal born 1813, as she is my great great Grandmother and I am trying to trace her, I believe she was a Portuguese Countess and disowned by her parents

thank you for your reply, I am very interested to know of any other family that may be related to Louisa Kate Cripps as my Great grandfather married Lousia, his name Patrick O'Meagher then they came to New Zealand on the ship Ruapahu .Not sure what year tho.  Lousia Kate was christened/born 28 July 1844 St Peters Brighton, parents are John and Mary(born Richardson 1813 in Portugal) and sisters Mary Qualia Stokes(Cripps) Jane Louisa, Elizabeth Sophie Beeho(Cripps) Sarah Ann Cripps, Brother John Thomas Cripps.
Patrick O'Meagher and Louisa Kate O'Meagher(Cripps) are buried in Cemetary in  (Te Aroha) New Zealand North Island )I do know Patrick died 1910. He was origanlly from Tipparary and fought in the Ashantree war of 1874.

My name is Maria and I live in New Zealand, I have been researching Lousia Kate Cripps my great grandmother' born in Brighton (Residence 7 Elder St, 28 July 1844. ]Parents John and Mary[ (born Portugal 1813) Louisa's sisters and brother listed here  Mary Qualia, Jane Louisa, Sarah Ann, Elizabeth Sophia and brother John Thomas and I think it was Elizabeth Sophia that married a Beeho, and I have recently located a sight where it seems Beeho migrated to Quebec in Canada. I have details of that site if interested
