Hi laura thanks for my grandfather James gannon obituaries,  yes we are 2nd cousins, you or your sister who see message first get me a text , your grandfather william gannon and my grandfather
James where brothers,
Kind wishes Diarmuid

Hi Diarmuid,

I think my mother and your father were cousins!  My mother was the daughter of William Gannon (died 1964) and Mary Byrne Gannon (died 1974).  They are buried with Williams parents and our great grand parents (Lizzie and John Gannon) and their niece (Kathleen).  My sister found your post and it was very helpful to us in our research.  Don't know if you've found your grandfathers grave yet but my sister found this, it might be useful to you.  I may also have a contact in the UK that is related to JohnJoe Gannon (born July 1907), my mother died some years ago but we still have an address there so if I find out anything else I will share it with you if you think that might be useful.  I'm very interested in going back to find John and Lizzie Gannon but I'm finding not all of the dates are matching up, I wonder would you mind if I shared some of our findings with you to see if they match up.  I'm finding all of this fascinating!

Kind regards,

Laura.
