I need some assistance with finding records for a second cousin. Edward Vincent Walters b 20 Jul 1941in Freebridge Lynn, Norfolk, father Edward Lewis Walters b 17 Feb 1918 in Crowborough, Sussex and mother Muriel Thurza Hudson b 23 Feb 1918 in Freebridge Lynn also. Edward Vincent Walters married  in Peterborough in Jul 1964 in Peterborough. Edward Lewis Walters divorced his first wife and married Elvira Seidler b 23 Jul 1927 in Austria and on 17 Mar 1953 Edward, Elvira and their new son James emigrated to Auckland. New Zealand where the remaining family still live. It is thought that Edward Vincent Walters died on a date unknown, in Perth Australia. I cannot find any emigration records for Edward Vincent going to Australia or New Zealand, as it would make sense that he went there first, nor any shipping manifests immigration records, census, death, probate or other records of him leaving the UK and arriving in either Aus or NZ. Any help anyone can give would be much appreciated. There is an Edward Vincent Walters in Repton, Yorkshire but this is not the one subject of this request.

Hi i am putting together a family tree for a colleague. one claim to fame is a relative that was the first Female Police Officer in Suffolk. WPC Millicent Bridget Duncan is well known in Suffolk Police circles born 11th April 1892 in Portsea an dying in Ipswich on 25th September 1989. i can find no birth records for her. from the family tree i have an Amelia Duncan same date and place of birth and then a Millicent Amelia Duncan who is a nurse  on a 1911 census and then Millicent Bridget Duncan appears as a Police Officer travelling the world on large ships. i am told that this was with the American Wives and Babies  Association which she ran for the Ipswich area. i wondered if anyone had any ideas how Amelia morphed into Millicent Amelia and then to Millicent Bridget. answers on a postcard to.............
