Hi there.
This is Pierre Simon, my great x3 grandfather.
How odd to see this picture that used to hang in my grandparents hallway & now owned by my fathers cousin.
Pierre Simon's daughter was named Marie and was my great, great grandmother.
He was born in 1807 and was the physician to the French Dauphin, the Duc de Conde and is reported to have saved his life.
I see that it is a long time since you posted this, but happy to answer any questions.
