All I can find is the following:
November 7th 1914 from London on the Dover Castle (Mail Steamship).
Master W Filby age 3
Mrs W R Filby age 27
Bound for Capetown.
Last permanent address — British Possessions.
For some reason these 2 entries are crossed out, so did they travel?.
If he was born out of the UK, then it's possible they could have migrated from that country.
Sorry it's not much help.

On the 1861 census the place name in Derbyshire should read Darley Abbey.
This is a suburb of Derby and just on the outskirts, St Alkmund's church was in the centre of Derby but is no longer there.

Can't find them anywhere on the 1841 census.
There's a Joseph & Elizabeth Wilsdon but it says they are all born in county, daughter Georgiana age 3 and Joseph's occupation given as Tailor.

I knew they were aborted during the war but some districts probably restarted later than others for different reasons.
I'll try the Record Office.
