At 13 Hill Street, Prescot in 1911 were my great uncle, James Nulty (34), and his wife Bridget (30), nee Gilligan

Also there were boarders James and Bridget Gilligan, both aged 57, these being the parents of Bridget Nulty. This Gilligan family had been at 16 Hill Street in 1901

James Nulty was killed on the Somme in 1916 and this link will take you to his page on my website

If you don't already have it, then I can provide you with a copy of the Operational Report for the attack in which he died

Pass me your email address via a Personal Message and I'll send it over to you

Sorry I'm a bit late to the party, having only just picked up the PM a week after it was posted.

It appears that the query has already been answered, but let me know if there's anything I can help with

I've looked through my records and can't find anything. I was also hopeful that I might have a copy of her entry in the burial registers, but mine only go up to March 1921

I did however find a burial record for John Griffiths, who was 7 days old when he died in March 1916 and was buried at St Mary's. His mother's maiden name was Mercer, so I assume he was a brother of your grandmother
