Carmarthenshire Lookup Requests / Re: census look up pls
« on: Friday 22 July 05 09:19 BST (UK)  »
Hi Heres what I know

Sorry I should have put ALL details in my 1st post.

RG13/5111
GOSPORT STREET, LAUGHARNE
Henry Beynon (head) age 48 General Farm Laborer Born Carmarthen, Laugharne.
However On the Marriage certificte it says that Henry Beynon was born in Llangyfelach, Swansea! & His fathers name was David Beynon.

Margaret (wife) age 47 Born Carmarthen, Laugharne

John Henry (son) age 2 Born Carmarthen, Laughrane
David thomas (son) age 1 Born Carmarthen, Laugharne

I have the birth certificate for the son John Henry Born 30 April 1898, Mother Margaret formerly Killa

I know from relatives:
Sons:
Sydney Beynon (who died young)
Charlie Beynon (who played the organ at St Martins                   church in Laughrane)

I hope this is what will help.
I do have other information about the sons & who they married etc but I dont know if that will help.

Again Many thanks
Rachx

hello

Thank you for your reply.

The Jane Im looking for was born in 1896, so she should have been there!?! wot u think?  I have a list of brothers & sisters:
Male:
Tomy/.Thomas
Mansel

The rest are women

My gran mentioned 4 Canon Street, Brynamman also there is a possibility that Rachel might have been a Goff/Gouch b4 marriage, because my gran who is still alive remebers a relative  mentioning the Goff/Gouch family who apparantly were well known/public speaking!

I tried looking for this side of the family, but  Ive had no luck at all!! thats why Ive asked 4 some help

Again Thank u 4 replying

Regards

Hi D

To be honest Ive been concentrating on my grans side Beynons from Laugharne, Carms.

Williams is my grandfathers side so I havent really started looking them up.  The info I have got is just what my grandfather has told me to get me started & he was quite vague!!  Who knows perhaps in a FEW YEARS! (when I finish looking up beynons) we will meet again lolol
