Armagh / Re: MILLER family - Co. Armagh
« on: Thursday 14 December 06 01:44 GMT (UK)  »
I notice your surname interests include Ferguson, Paterson, and McLean.  they are also interests of mine.  I have Thomas Paterson and Maria Ferguson who married in Armagh in 1858 and later moved to Scotland.  Do you know if we have a connection?

Unfortunately I don't think so. My Paterson's are on my mom's side and Ferguson's on my dad's (at least so far in my research).

Thanks for your reply!

If you are researching families from Gloucestershire please state the family name and the area you are interested in and the rough date.

Example:

More detailed posts can be made separately.

Hello all!

My Gloucestershire name interests (and the various renditons of them!) are:

BOTHERIDGE
BOOKER

At present, all seem to be in the Chipping Campden/Broad Campden area of Gloucester.

Argyllshire / McDougall and Patterson from Isle of Mull
« on: Tuesday 22 August 06 07:37 BST (UK)  »
Hello! I'm new here and wanted to say hello.

I am currently researching my McDougall and Patterson ancestors from the Isle of Mull, Argyll. Some of the McDougalls immigrated to Canada (Finch Township, Ontario) between 1851 and 1861 (they were on the Scotland 1851 census and the Canada 1861 census).

If you are researching either name I'd love to hear from you!

Thanks!
