Hi Jen
Of course that may well be the case - not even considered that 🤦‍♀️
I’ve walked the length and breadth of others in Bromsgrove to no avail , but yes , you may well have a good point.👍
The latest ancestry record is the best clue I have found . Her obituary in the local paper is extensive but no mention of where she actually ended up .
Hopefully someone may well be able to point me in the general direction.
Thank you
Sharon

I visited All Saints church but unable to locate its associated burial plots - if indeed it has any !

Thanks you for the link to map… it’s a mystery - just when I thought I’d cracked it ….
Interesting to see the football ground marked , as family were heavily involved with the towns team at that time. She apparently purchased land to be used for that purpose.
I’ll keep trying !

Ha - thank you , will do😊
In my naivety I just assumed it would be with the church or close by - quick trip out yesterday and nothing obvious 🤦‍♀️

Finally … I have now established that my gt gt grandmother was buried at “ Bromsgrove, All Saints - March 2nd 1938 “

Found the church but not too sure where the actual cemetery is 🤷‍♀️

This has been such a mission - can anyone give me a clue as to where it is located , please.?

Thank you 😊

Hi
Several years ago ,whilst browsing, I came across records relating to the above.
I saved the link and continued to dip in and out of it periodically.
They were mainly one line entries giving details of the deceased and circumstances of how they met their end !  It was really interesting and often more than a little sad - just a little snap shot of life then and how things change !

Anyways … imagine my disappointment when I’ve recently tried the link again and it doesn’t work.
I’ve tried all sorts of searches to no avail.
From memory I found it when looking at BMDs as they were also included in the link , and probably via The Records Office , but I honestly can’t remember.

Hopefully someone will know what I’m talking about !

Thank you!
I’ve gone up those steps on  my search.. but I’ve never gone over into the other cemetery 🤔
That’ll be my next trip !

The Roebuck was at the bottom of High Street sort of on the junction .. it’s listed as being number 9 High Street.  I do have some photos - family also owned The George Hotel I think at the same time.
Elizabeth was a very very astute business woman - way ahead of her time.
