Thanks Ian and Francis you have both been a great help as I have been struggling a bit with this one.
I do have George and Ann Gable's marriage cert as well as a birth cert for Alfred George (28th July but I have 1849). They must have moved back to New Gravel Lane before 1871. The only problem I have now is Emma's birth.
There is a birth recorded on the BMD for a Emma Wimms Q1 1847 St George in the East Vol 2 page 91. I sent off for this cert but think they have sent the wrong one. On close inspection I don't think the one they have sent is the name Wimms and after having another look at the index image it may be page 71? The info you have Francis, seems to be correct apart from maybe the years for Alfred George and Emma?
Thanks again. Bryan

Hi,
I am trying to find the Wimms family in 1851 and 1861. I know that Alfred George was born at New Gravel Lane, Shadwell in 1849. I have Ann and family at No31 New Gravel Lane in 1871 and eldest son Thomas living at No36 in 1881. I think both these address's are missing from the 1851 and 1861 census's. Am I correct?
Thanks for any help, Bryan.

Hi everyone,
I am not sure where to post this so thought I would try here first.
It is my mothers 70th birthday next year and so far I have found 15 of her gg grandparents (the missing one was the father of an illegitimate child) and about 20 of her ggg grandparents as well as a huguenot gggggg grandfather. I would like to have this made into a wall chart and framed for her birthday. Has anyone any suggestions of a company or person that could undertake this for me that wouldn't need a second mortgage? I live in Somerset so someone in the locality would be best.
Thanks for any suggestions,
Bryan.

Thanks again SM.
It is the baptism record that I would like to find. If it is in the PR's for Wickham Market All Saints where would I be able to find these records, or is there anyone out there that would be willing to have a look for me? If these records dont survive is there a bishops transcript around somewhere?
I will be away for a few days so will not be able to view replies straight away.
Thanks, Bryan.

Hi suffolkmawther,
Thanks for that but I have already checked out Hugh's site and have found that he has Samuel muddled up with another Samuel Fisk. It is an easy error though because both of them moved to Lambeth, Surrey. I have not seen the link to Brian Fisk though and will check this out.
What I really wanted was for anyone going to either of the Suffolk records office's to try and find a possible baptism record although I am not sure where he may have been baptised if at all. I have been led to believe that the workhouse had its own chapel but am not sure about this.
Regards, Bryan.

Hi,
I am trying to find out if there may be a baptism record for my gg grandfather Samuel Fisk. I have his birth cert but as he was base born the father is not listed. He was born 25 May 1847 at Plomesgate Union Workhouse, Wickham Market. His mother was Mary Fisk. I have no idea if he was baptised or not or if any records exist but as I am in Somerset I would be very grateful for some help. Thanks in advance. Bryan.

Hi Jane,
Yes, I do have approximate ages, they are both about 22 according to later census's but the marriage cert says both 25. It is them that I am looking for in the 1861 census but I thought if I could find either of the address's it would lead to them.
Regards, Bryan.
