I know what you mean.

If I'm feeble minded, I dont know what some of the people I've met in my time are!

I just Googled Cameron Highlanders at Monte Cassino and found this, http://www.veteransagency.mod.uk/pdfs/publications/comm_booklets/monte_cassino.pdf

Does anyone have any other links?

John

Lancashire / epilepsy in the early 1900's
« on: Saturday 18 November 06 17:56 GMT (UK)  »
This is a bit of a long shot, but after seeing the previous post I thought I would ask.

Does anyone have information about how Epilepsy was perceived or treated in the early 1900's? I think a distant relative may have had Epilepsy around that time.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks John.

I'll have to check those out with my mum.

We're pretty sure its St Helens, mum seems to think that Martha Ward O'Neill's mother was called Bridget McCushion (not sure on spelling)?

Thanks for the help.

John.

Both of my G grandparents on my fathers side come Lathom in Ormskirk.

I've found a Cook St and Cock St, do you think they could be the same place?

Is there any website that lists all of the British Regiments involved in the Battle of the Somme?
