I am trying to find details of my sister’s enlistment into the WAAF during the 2nd World War.  I think it must have been approx 1941 but I do not have her Service No. and therefore have little to go on.  I would grateful if somebody could start me off in the right direction    With thanks.   Grossan

Thank you Andy J2022 for your reply.  Each little snippet of information will, I hope, help me to fill the big picture in my quest.  I think he may possibly have been on HMS Columbine in Scotland in 1917/18 - just have to find the right source to verify.

I need help to find possible records of Reginald Willer Miller, born 1.11.1893 in Essex, England.   I have a photo of him in what appears to be naval uniform  rumour has it that he was served in Scotland in about 1917/18 - in Greenock/Gourack area.  Is anybody able to kindly help with my query
With thanks

Sorry to appear so ignorant but could you tell me what mmn stands for - something about maiden name perhaps?
