Thank you for the information.

I was hoping someone could do a look-up for me on the parish records but I see that it does not seem possible.

kind regards
Melanie

Suffolk Lookup Requests / Lookup Request for Cookley

Please could someone be so kind as to look up the birth and/or baptism of Cutts ancestors of mine:

1. Alfred James Cutts, born 4th quarter 1842
2. Ellen Maria Cutts, born 4th quarter 1844
3. Agnes Matilda Cutts, born 2nd quarter 1847

Their parents names were William Cutts and Mary Cutts nee Burrows.  They lived in Cookley from 1837-1847 then moved to Topcroft, Norfolk.

Any help with this would be most appreciated.
kind regards, Melanie Andersen

Thank you both Rosie & Brentor Boy,

I contacted Torquay Cemetery and yes, they do have a burial entry and a location and there is a grave.  At least I now know that he was buried in Old Torquay Cemetery, Barton Road and now have a grave number so if one day I do get to Devon, at least I know where to go.

I also found his probate entry and the money he left to his daughter Vida Rubie Cutts.

Again, thank you for replying.

Dear All,

I have been trying to locate my great grandfather for the past 10 years with no luck but this morning from FindMyPast I've found a burial entry for him at Torquay Cemetery, Consecrated Ground.  Date of Death was 11 Dec 1917, Date of Burial was 15 Dec 1917, his residence was 35 Ilsham Road, Torquay but he died at The County Asylum, Exminster.  Would anyone be able to find the appropriate entry for me and to let me know if the grave is still in existence or any further information as to cause of death or anything really.  I live in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia so it's not possible for me to visit the Devon Heritage Centre where I believe the information is stored.  I believe there are 2 cemeteries in Torquay but again, I'm not sure which one he is buried in.

Any help with the above would be most appreciated.  Thank You, Melanie Andersen nee Cutts
