26238 Private J Crompton 20th Bn Manchester Regiment.
He died in service on 03 September 1916 I will be most grateful for any information

John was born in Altrincham  October 31s1898  57 Chapel.Street

John Quinlan E Lanc Reg 22184.
He also served in the M/c Reg 86091.
This would be just after the the first world war.
Any infomation  would great thank you TSb

            John was also my uncle even though i never met him.
            John had a son Keith who i speak to now and then  he sent me a photo of his dad in the army if you would like a copy i will e-mail it to you ifyou send me your addresse.

Yes John Quinlan was born at 47Chapel St Altrincham
