I have a couple of photos of the two gravestones I found there.  Please email me privately and I'll send them to you.

I have just been in a small abandoned graveyard in Ballykelly called locally 'Garrison' - there are Devenneys buried there.  Ballykelly is 2 miles outside Limavady on the way to the city of Derry.

I have just found some info about Jackson Taggart from the 1911 census - anyone who wishes to correspond - can you please PM me as this would affect people still alive.

Dear Kingskerswell

I contacted Joanne on Facebook and her reply was:

"Oooh yes send it all to me, that'd be great xx"

Shall I PM you her email?  Or do you want to publish it here on Rootschat?   Or maybe post it?

Regards

Betty

Dear Kingskerswell

The lady is from Redditch and would appreciate some help - it looks like that is where some of Daniel's relatives are from as well.  Don't know anything about the Gillespies.  What shall I ask her or even better, what have ye got to offer???

Regards

Betty

Hi Ollie

Sorry I have been out of RootsChat for a while as well - especially since my email box was spammed!  I met this lady on facebook recently and she sent me this message:

Hi

I'm just wondering if we are related, I have loads of relatives over in Northern Ireland that I've never met.....McNerlins, Gillespie's, Robinsons... My Grandad was Sandy McNerlin he moved over to England when he was a young man, most of his brothers and sisters have died now and I've kind of lost track of the McNerlin family tree! These are some of his brothers and sisters....Gwen, Rea, Eddie, Matty, Maggie, Danny, Johnston...there are others but I can't remember!

If these names are in your family ree - send me a persona;l message and I'll put you in touch.

Regards

Betty

Dear kingskerswell

I did't know about the burials around the actual workhouse itself - was anything ever discovered when buildings like the health centre and other houses were built on much later?

Regards

Betty
