Yep, that's the one, glad to know that it is still there and just needs a tidy up. 
I do have a number of Tipler and Smith headstones on my computer but did not have a picture of this one.

Hi Sandy,
Can't find it sounds a bit ominous
it has been a while since I visited but in 1999 the kerbstones were between a Vase on plaque "In loving memory of FROST BAKER died 24th June 1960" and an old Sarcophagus that had no legible inscription left.
I would have thought it was a bit early for the kerbstones to have been removed.

Hi Ashley,
We are second cousins and you are in my family tree, Henry Tipler and Fanny are my Great Grandparents, your Grandfather George Alfred was my Grand Uncle.
Henry and Fanny had six children, their daughter Nora Lydia was my Grandmother.
Henry and Fanny's grave is on the same side of the path as Sarah Jane's grave but is close to the corner of the Church, it is not a head stone but kerb stones with the inscription In loving memory of FANNY TIPLER died Dec. 22nd 1940 aged 91. Also HENRY her husband died Oct. 21st 1895 aged 49. Also HENRY EDWARD their son died Feb. 24 1948 aged 68. "Resting"
On my visits to Ecton I could see no grave for your Grandparents George and Mary-Ann Maria Tipler, you would need to check the burials register for Ecton, 1976 and 1968 respectively to see if they were buried there.
Any more information you need just let me know, you can PM me if you wish.

Thanks for looking, I must be in the correct area but I guess she was baptised elsewhere and was perhaps living in Charing from infancy, Stalisfield may well be worth a look.

Thanks for that idea, a good suggestion, I will save that for later, I think a baptisms in Charing has to be my first place to look.

Hello,
I have not found a marriage. She had a base born son (Thomas) born in a London workhouse in 1848 and then lived as the wife of Samuel Heatley in the St Georges in the East, and then Westminster areas of London, where they had another seven children.
She is shown as Amy Heatley in the 1861, 1871 and 1881 census, she died in Pancras London in 1901.
In one of the census returns her place of birth is shown as Cheynham, Kent, while in the others it is Charing, Kent.

Thanks for that link Rog, it might actually be Amy Dennetst's parents that are shown in the burials, which would be very handy to know.................... now all I need is that baptism.
