No not that I can figure, on all the census records she's shown as Anne and on her son's birth certiticate she's Anne also.
 ???

Peter was an Agricultural Labourer he had the following kids:
Catherine (b 1839)
Anne (b:1841)
Elizabeth (b:1845)
Jane (b: 1847)
John (b: 1850)
Thomas (b: 1855)

Of course I should read my own post properly it was Peter Foulkes married to Mary
Anne is their daughter

Hi thanks for the feed back.

I should have been  clearer I found them on the 1891 census living in Holywell North Wales but I couldn't locate anything between 1861 and 1891.

Perhaps they avoided the census? :D

I have a Peter Foulkes (b: abt 1818 Rhuddlan) married to a Mary (b: abt 1814 Bodfari).

I know there are other Foulkes out there  but specifically interested in this specific family.

I have their census records for 1841, 1851 and then nothing up to 1891.

Any one out there able to help?

Anglesey / Re: Thomas Edward Williams & Mary Jones

Hi Silvery

Since I made this post I found their marriage certificate (woo hoo! ;D )

It confirmed enough detail for me to find Thomas Edward William's father and siblings and birth place.

His wife however is more troublesome.  It showed her as being age 24 however we know she was 20 when married (#I don't know if the registrar made a mistake or they fibbed about their ages she was born 14 Aug 1886).  It showed Mary's father as a Hugh Jones (labourer) and that they lived in Trefalgar, Llanbergoch, Anglesey, North Wales Jan 1907.  The problem starts in that they don't appear to have lived there during the 1901 census (waah! >:( ).

To cap it all there at least two or three Hugh Jone's with daughter's called Mary living in that area (around Red Wharf Bay) in 1901. :'(

By the way Rhoda A Williams (Rhoda Amelia) born 13 Mar 1913 you got that spot on.  You don't need to worry about the children as everyone logged after Mary (descendents) I have tracked down.

Jones? Anglesey?  ??? It's the hardest part of the tree so far.

Any hints what to do next would be gratefully received.

There were two witnesses to the marriage at the Penuel Chapel Llangefni, Anglesey they were William Jones and Ellen Hughes.  It's funny as we always believed she was a strict Church of Wales woman who would never deign to set foot in a Chapel???

Anyhow I attached a copy of their marriage certificate for any one to see Anglesey 11b 613
