Lanarkshire / Re: help with Glasgow street name

Hi Margaret
If you put "Corn Street" into Streetmap, Tayport Street would have been in the gap between Civic St and the motorway.

I am interested in the Boag [Murray] inscription at St Helen.
Any info you can supply will be much appreciated.

Hallside Street was a very short little street which ran parallel to Caledonia Road between Camden Street and Naburn Street.  If you search for Caledonia Road on Streetmap, Hallside Street was where Caledonia Road bends towards Cathcart Road. It was very close to the cemetery - The Southern Necropolis.

I visited Berwick Record Office before I went hunting and Linda Bankier, the Archivist, was a great help.  She was able to tell me where in the cemetery the 'non-conformists' were buried and I found those I was looking for without any trouble.  I also found some of their children who had died in infancy/childhood  in the burial ground of the church near the Records Office.
Happy hunting

Northumberland / Berwick burial

Can anyone tell me where someone who died in Berwick in 1870 would be buried?  I believe he would have been connected with the Golden Square Presbyterian Or Scotch Church, Berwick Upon Tweed.

Sighthill Cemetery in Springburn would be a strong possibility.
The Cemeteries Department of Glasgow Council will be able to tell you if Eliza Matilda Baker is buried there but may charge for the service.

Thank you for your stunningly fast reply.
A negative result is still a result - thanks for looking.  If I manage to find any cracks in this brick wall I will came back again.
Cheers
