wow, that is great, i have only traced back to christian harvey and thomas fleming, i have been curious as to where the shanks came into things not realising it was from christian patteson's line of the tree that is great, will email you on your address

hi elaine, oh my god, think i have hit the jackpot, i am nearly in tears at this point, my great great grandmother is christina fleming, who married andrew clark,  i have christina's parents as mary miller/millar and shanks fleming, christina and andrew has a few children, my great grandfather one of them, he being david fleming clark, others being marion, thomas, shanks andrew and jane, i have recently found a cousin, thind 3rd and 2nd to mum, her grandfather was shanks fleming clark and  she is in the herkes line, her name is christine crowe, wow, will email again soon, just need a moment to process all of this, thanks again for your time, oh yeah, and  your school list, the jane is most likely in my line, thanks for that

CLARK'S in your records, any information or addresses woud be fantastic, am at a bit of a standstill with them, they are my great grandfather's family, his name  DAVID FLEMING CLARK,  i know some siblings , marion, thomas, shanks, andrew, david, jane, and a few i am missing,

hi, thanks for you kind words and support, am actually chasing any information on my great grandfather, david fleming clark, i know his parents are andrew clark and christina fleming, andrew's parents are thomas clark and jane matthewson, christina's parents mary miller/millar and shanks fleming, i also know david came to australia, not sure when or on which vessel, he then went to ww1, where he died 24.6.1918, i know he married my great grandmother in australia and the following i know,  the rest of his life in scotland is a real mystery.  also thomas clark, born 1825, married to jane, have no trace of his parents or siblings either,    any help appreciated and tips welcome, thanks again for your welcome,

AM RECENTLY NEW TO FAMILY HISTORY, I AM TRACING ANCESTORS FROM SCOTLAND, MAINLY FROM FIFE. THEY WERE PREDOMINATELY COAL MINERS AND SOME DID MOVE ON TO AUSTRALIA.
