London & Middlesex Lookup Requests / Re: DEATH REGISTRATION ST. PANCRAS 1874
« on: Tuesday 22 November 16 01:42 GMT (UK) »
My thanks to all of the dedicated people who replied to my request.
1.I believe the LDS film record was correct. Quite easy for the 2 to be transcribed as a 7 in the Burial Fee Book for the period 1823-1826.
2. I eliminated Henry in Aston as his family appears in the 1881 census and Emma was in London.
3. 1870 birth of James is interesting but not with mother in 1881 census.
4. Disregarded death of James snr. in Salisbury 1872 due to Emma jnr. born 1875.
5.Emma jnr. born 1875 therefore Mr Brown died between 1874 and 1878. Emma snr. marries Hobbs in 1879. With widow and the name Brown appearing on marriage certificate and birth certs. of next two daughters I do not think Brown just ran off!
6. Emma snr. died in a house fire 15 Oct 1887 (registered 20 Oct) Kilburn, Willesden (Hendon)
no record of cemetery.
I have tried to obtain the entry and discharge records from MILL HILL SCHOOL HOUSE HENDON without success. The brick wall appears to be getting taller and thicker.
My thanks again for your assistance, Sylvia
