« on: Sunday 14 February 21 01:16 GMT (UK)  »
Hello there from New Zealand

It's been awhile but back into my Tree again.
I am looking for confirmation of details that were written down but no details from where it was sourced!
I am hoping some kind soul can help me confirm the following details
James O'BRIEN born 12 Jan 1835 ,baptism 25'Jan 1835 to James O'brien and Ellinor (nee McDonough /and variants) from Kilmoremoy Ireland area. There were two previous children, one being my descent link of Ann O'BRIEN born Jan 1828 and baptised 28 Jan 1828 ,same parents.

I can no longer subscribe financially to Rootsireland.

Thank you so much for your time and help and hoping to hear back at some point.

Warmest regards from NZ to you.
Stay safe.(◍•ᴗ•◍)❤

Thanks so much Janette.

So Rachael was the daughter of Frederick Brougham and Maud Bousfield.
and Frederick was the son of Edmond Woodthorpe Richings Bousfield, son of Octavius L W Bousfield. (My gggfather through Frederick Brougham Woodthorpe Bousfield)
Fabulous connection.

Regards
Sue B (Bousfield)

Opps sorry : Frederick was the son of Herbert Octavius  Bousfield  and NOT of Edmund W R Bousfield. My line was another brother : Frederick Brougham WHITMORE Bousfield, so just a couple of errors in the above message

This person has just popped up on a family research query regarding Rachel Ella Grace (nee BOUSFIELD). Do you have any information on her.
I have found out that she was born 1923 in Gisborne but now looking for her parents to put her on the right branch of my BOUSFIELD people.
She married Charles Roy BUSH maybe 1940's ( records that I cant access here yet due to time frame restrictions)
Can any lovely person out there help with any info.

Thank you

Other Countries / John STANSFIELD
« on: Saturday 17 March 18 23:35 GMT (UK)  »
John STANSFIELD  born about 1780/90- our family history and story goes that this person was on HELGOLAND in 1811-12 as an Adjudant des Gouverneurs and got together with a local ( Anna Hansen) and they had a daughter Anna Margaretha STANSFIELD born on Helgoland 1812 and then there is no further record of John. I cant locate and marriage for John and Anna in Helgoland records, no place of birth or death for John. One of the family enigmas. Does anyone else have a similar family story involving Helgoland out there in genealogy land. Would be so grateful to get some more information on this one. Thank you in anticipation.

HOW INTERESTING - the ongoing Anderson / Bousfield mystery.
Anything more in the way of facts of any possible previous marriage for Sophie Bousfield?
Sister to Octavius (which is my line here in NZ) ?
Anything more in the diaries held over there in Sydney?
Can you include me in on any outcomes or if anything comes to light.

Thanks
Genealogically yours,

LOST RELLIES - Needle in the genealogical haystack

Hoping some lovely someone in the area can offer some hope.

Anderson BARNFATHER married janet Smail? in 1850 Jedburgh. This is basically all the info I have been able to find despite searches - Ancestry, Family search etc etc
My Anderson Barnfather was born 1808 in Jarrow UK but seems to have crossed the border to marry in 1850 and and has since lost track of this gggg? uncle. Tried all the options I can think of without incurring tooooo much $$$$.

From that date I have been unable to locate any records or information.

Thanks in anticipation of some helpful genealogical soul out there.
