Wales / Re: Euston - Tryddyn Nth Wales

Hello Pip, I'm not sure whether you found any more information about Mabel. Mabel & Walter Henry Euston had a son, William, in 1913 in Inglewood, Victoria. Walter was arrested and fronted the Inglewood Police Court in early 1913 for deserting his pregnant wife, who was not named in the newspaper article (see attachment).
My grandfather was Walton Harry EUSTON but there has been a fair bit of conjecture about whether or not he is the same person (Walter Henry EUSTON/ENSTON). I am very interested to compare photos of Walton & Walter. If you are interested I can send you some photos of Walton Harry EUSTON.
Many thanks.
Peter Euston.

Flintshire Lookup Requests / EUSTON, William and Mary
« on: Wednesday 01 July 09 13:42 BST (UK)  »
Hello, I am (trying) to researching the surname EUSTON, supposedly from Tryddyn (Treuddyn) Flintshire in Nth Wales. William EUSTON was a Veterinary Surgeon and married Mary NEWTON (date unknown but c:1880). They had a son Walton Harry EUSTON who moved to Australia about 1903. I have been unable to locate any records for the family in the UK but I have all the information I need on Walton Harry EUSTON in Victoria Australia from his marriage in 1917 to his death in 1930.

Hello everyone, along with a series of old photos I bought recently I found quite a number relating to the family HOBSON of Blackrock, Cork, Ireland and later in Melbourne Australia c:1905. There are also photos of Blackrock Castle and surrounds. If anyone has an interest in the HOBSON family please let me know.

Kind Regards

Peter Euston

Amonst a bundle of old photos (1904 -10) are photos of George HOBSON and presumably his family (and friends). They seem to be from the area of Blackrock and if anyone has any connection to the family please contact me.

Amongst a series of old photos I recently bought I found this Church. Is anyone able to help me identify it please. Some of the other photos included Blackrock Castle so maybe the Church is in that area of Cork in Ireland.

Kind Regards

Northamptonshire / Woodings in Yardly Hastings
« on: Monday 30 June 08 11:47 BST (UK)  »
Hello Everyone, I am stuck at a Charles WOODING B:c1723 in Yardley Hastings. He married Hannah Stevenson in 1748 and I have found his descendants but not his parents or siblings.
From the Northamptonshire Marriages CD I was given a marriage for a Thomas WOODING and Sarah POWELL on 13 February in 1723. This could certainly be the break I need if I could only prove it. There is also a Sarah WOODING B:1727 to Thomas and Sarah.
The only Thomas WOODING I can find that could remotely be the above Thomas was the son of Thomas WOODING & Susannah Whitmell. This Thomas was born in 1674 which would make him about 48 when he married.
The possibilities I can see are that there was another generation in between, is may have been his 2nd marriage or for some reason he married later in life.

If anyone has any information or ideas on how I can possibly make a link or otherwise find Charles Parents I would be most grateful to hear.

With Many Thanks Jumbuck

« on: Friday 20 June 08 10:15 BST (UK)  »
Hello, I have a Marry Worrall with a son William Worrall WOODING. The WORRALL name is obviously a side branch I have not explored yet but I would be very interested in either the certificate or a scanned copy for my files.

Kind Regards

Hello Sandy, thankyou for your quick reply even though it wasn't the answer I was hoping for. At least with that marriage I MIGHT be one step closer to solving the riddle.

Many Thanks
