I phoned a couple of days after mine had expired and was given worldwide for £89.99. I was delighted.

That is interesting as I know that some of my Spence was in Hoboken. However, I have not found a connection to this Spence/McElhinney. My grandmother was McElhinney as well. McClure has married in to the McElhinney family too.

There is an Alexander Spence married to Isabella Elliott. Looks like the marriage was before 1831. The children are
Margaret 1831
Martha 1833
Mary. 1835
Alexander 1836
William 1839
David 1841
David 1844
Andrew 1846
I expect that is not the Alexander that died in 1835.

Did William Spence that married Margaret Elhinney have a sister Mary who married John Connor?

There is a marriage for William Spence and Margaret McElhinney 9th May 1861. Is that your ancestors? If so, his father was Alexander Spence.

I must have a look and see if there is a connection to my Spence. Do you have a DNA test on any of the sites? I have mine on a few.

I have phoned Ancestry just now and was given Worldwide for £89.99. I’m delighted to get it. The girl was very helpful and friendly.

Has anyone managed to get the Worldwide subscription for £89.99 recently?  I have before and I am having trouble this time. Mine is up in 1st January and I have just cancelled my existing one as I do every year. All that is coming up is £99 for 6 months.
