I have details of his parents and grandparents, siblings and some of their descendents. My wife's grandmother was Posgate of South Shields, Cramlington, Broomhill, Hetton Le Hole, Kelloe, Bishop Middleham, and Sedgefield- but not related to your line. However I am convinced that both link are back in North Yorkshire before 1700
