Hi there, I have Brocks in Garboldisham too. But most of mine were born in South or North Lopham. Does that tie in with your tree at all?

I have Brocks in Norfolk around Starston and the information is a bit vague, ie regarding marriages etc. If you have any information on Brocks in Starston area I would be interested!

Clare / Searching for parents of Mary Murray

Hi there, newish to Roots Chat!
I have become stuck on my Paternal Grandmothers side of my tree. The relatives on this side are american however one person was able to help me locate the above person who came from County Clare. Her dob is approx 29 October 1831. She emigrated when she was about 12 as a servant for the Rice family. She married William Laney (1820-1907) in Lowville, Lewis, New York in 1850. I have been unable to find out any further information on her or who her parents were. If anyone can help I would really appreciate it!
