Terry,
Came across this message then came across you again when I was searching in LDS for a birth for Susan Spooner, daughter of William Spooner.
Today I was researching a remote branch of my tree and came across a William J Eberhardt who married an Annie Mitchell in 1915.  I then found some more of these Eberhardts from census information. 'My' William's father was a bargebuilder too.
Seems too much of a coincidence!. I am only just adding this family to my tree now. If you would like somew more detail.

PPS I see another coincidence - I am Terry too!!

I came across this site by accident as I googled the Simpson name. I have just input the date of death information for Andrew Simpson when I did this!

He died 14/7/1875 at Forth Street, Leven. Was a retired postman and widower of Isabel Edgar. Death was registered by his son W(ALTER) Simpson of Buckhaven. I am very remotely linked to the Simsons.

Hope this helps
