Hi and thank you. I studied the Green family a few weeks ago and I had an open mind about it. I looked at 4 Ellenor's and Green was the most promising. I'll dig a little with this family and try and confirm a link.

The marriage is a possibility. Many thanks, Mike

Look up please: St George DEN. marriage 1825 - 1830; Evan Evans & Mary Thomas.

Evan Evans, born ~1805 St Asaph, latterly a farmer 8 acres Llywendai / Llawendai in 1841 & 1851 census St George / Llannefydd.
Mary Thomas, ~1804 St George.
Cannot find Evan & Mary in 1861 census and onwards.
Children Elin ~1830, Edward ~1835-1874, Maria 1839, David 1842 (all St George).

Many thanks, Mike

Thanks for your thoughts on this.  After more digging I have gleaned that Coningsby is nowadays spelt Conesby and the farm is quite topical at the moment due to a housing scheme planning application.

It's quite a way from West Halton village but lies within the then parish boundary.

Once again thanks, Mike

Lincolnshire / Old Park Farm, Coningsby Park, West Halton parish location query
« on: Saturday 07 February 15 12:21 GMT (UK)  »
My ancestors William & Mary WRIGHT are shown in the 1841 census as working at Old Park Farm, Coningsby Park, West Halton parish, Glanford Brigg RD in North Lincolnshire. Both are age 55.

Does anyone have any clues as to where Old Park Farm is located now?

Hi John.

Is John's occupation stated on the 1826 record?
Are the couple stated as otp?

This date fits nicely although the couple do move to Denbigh and have their children in the Denbigh parish, latterly in the Calvinistic Methodist records [1834-1848].
I've also found possible baptism records in the Ruthin PR's [micro-fiche] in the correct dates region.

Many thanks for your help. Kind regards, Mike

Look up please: Marriage of John ROBERTS & Elizabeth LLOYD C1825 in or around Ruthin [possibly Llanfwrog, Llanrhydd, Llanynys]. Possible first child born 1827. Definite child born 1834.

From later census both born in Ruthin around 1804 / 08 [John] and 1803 / 07 [Elizabeth].

Thank you, Mike

Hello Peter.  Thanks for the response which repeats your response of November 2011.  A senior moment perhaps!!!  Good to see that you are still actively researching our ancestors.  Best wishes, Mike Wright
