Kent / Re: The Oliver Family.
« on: Sunday 12 May 13 00:25 BST (UK)  »
Hi Lee,  Thank you for finding that.  I had seen that entry and did think that was one of the sons.  The other two seem to have vanished though.

I do know that William Joseph Oliver married Dorothy A Josey in 1938 in Eton, Bucks.  They divorce as Dorothy remarries 9 years later.  I also know he didn't die during WWII, he just vanishes !!!

I am looking for information about The Oliver family from Kent.

Thomas Henry Oliver.  Born in 1878 in South Cheriton, Somerset.  His death was registered in Blean, Kent in 1936.  He married Eleanor Mary Hardman in 1904 in Camden.  In the 1911 census they and their two sons, Francis Henry Oliver (b. 1905 Hampstead, London) and Thomas Gordon Oliver  (b. 1907 Hampstead, London) were living 7 Caroline Square, Margate.  They also had another son William Joseph Oliver (b. 1918 Thanet, Kent)  I can't seem to find much info on the sons.  Any ideas ?? ???

Looking for information on the parents/siblings on Mary Ann Hambleton born between 1798-1806 in Winkfield.

She married John Appleton in 1825 in Clewer, Windsor and lived in that area until her death in 1892.

I can't seem to find any info on any of the usual websites.  I have hit a brick wall.

Any help appreciated.

Other Countries / Ernest Herbert Hanson Young

I am looking for information on the above person.

He was born on 15 May 1910 possibly in Wandsworth London.

He was a missionary in Kenya.

The only record I can find is a travel record of Ernest & his wife Margaret returning to England to visit in 1957.

His father was a missionary too.

Where would  I be able to find records about Kenya ??  Is there anywhere that could have records about missionaries ??

Hope someone can help.  I'm truly stuck !!!

I wonder If anyone can help with a burial query ?

Looking for information on the following :

Mary Ann Kelly - B.1840 - Ireland
Ellen Kelly - B.1843 - Ireland

They had another sister Rosamand and two brothers Randolph and John.
Their parents were Alice Mulling and Henry Kelly.

In the 1851 census the family were living in Bradford but then moved to Wrekenton.

Any info or help on any of these people would be very much appreciated.

Wiltshire / Daniel REEVES/Elizabeth KINNETT
« on: Thursday 19 March 09 13:43 GMT (UK)  »
I am looking for information/help with some of my husbands ancestors.

They are a Daniel Reeves and his wife Elizabeth Kinnett.  I believe Elizabeth was born 1814 in Purton, Wiltshire.  I have no idea where Daniel was from.

They had two (that I can find) children : William Born 1836 in Liddington and Susanna born 1840 in Highworth.

In the 1841 census both children are in the Highworth and Swindon union workhouse.  So what happened to Daniel and Elizabeth ???

I am having trouble finding out what happened to Susanna too

Any help would be gratefully received.
