Hi Lu Archibald was single as far as I am aware. The only information I have re New Zealand is his twin brother (my grandfather) used to get letters in the 1930's and give the stamps to my sister. He told her the letters were from his brother in New Zealand.

I am trying to find what happened to my g uncle Archibald William Thomson who was born 1st December 1855 to Alexander and Margaret Thomson in Donibristle Village Aberdour Fife Scotland. I have no idea when he emigrated apart from he was on the 1891 Scottish census but not the 1901 census. He was a miner in Scotland.

I am trying to trace the whereabouts of Catherine Young born 23 rd November 1893 inEdinburgh. She is believed to have been a nurse in France during WW1 and was a fluent French speaker. If anyone has any links I would be most grateful
