My father in law Brian Huggett was fostered at this address in the 1930's until his was 10 approx he remembers other boys also being fostered there and wondered if any one had relatives or family also fostered here?

Hi
Can anyone point me in the right direction to find fostering records? My father in Law was fostered at 88 Trevellyan Road Tooting, in the 1930's, until he was approx 10 there were other boys in the house as well which leads me to think that it was an official foster placement.
Does anyone know where I would start to trace the organisation that placed him there so that he can look at his records?
Thanks very much

Hi
My name is Mary Kelly - nee Doyle.  My late Father was James Doyle of Laragh Ballon Co Carlow.  Edward Doyle (my Grandfather) was a brother of David Doyle - I'm not quite sure but I understand that David died young.  I do have an old photograph of David as a young man.

Can this be of help to you.

HI Mary Could you let me have the photo of David? Many thanks Maria

Hi Mary

Thanks for the message. David Doyle is my Great Grandfather and I believe he died young as did my maternal Great Grandmother Kate Atkinson.

In total they had 3 children, Mary (My grandmother), Nancy and Bridget. We know that in the 1911 Census my Gt Grandmother had died as David was aged 31 and a widower he had been married 4 years with 2 children and one surviving Bridget (As my Grandmother and Nancy were born before they were married).

5.5.1908 David Doyle bachelor, labourer, Ballon son of Patrick Doyle, labourer married Kate Atkinson aged 20 spinster Ballon Hill, daughter of Peter Atkinson Labourer, they were married at Ballon Roman Catholic Church. The witnesses were Edward Nolan and Jane McKane.

After kate Atkinson died it appears that David went back to live with his parents at Tarragh, Ballon, Patrick and Mary Doyle they were married 46 years had 9 children - 8 living.

I don't know if you have all this information already? It would be good to have a photo as we don't have any of the Doyle's, Sadly Bridget died in England a couple of years ago. I could send you a photo of my Grandmother and her children?
Look forward to hearing from you Maria
