Hello Megan,
what part of Ireland did your Creighton family eminate?
My Creighton family from Gosforth UK are said to have come from Co. Donegal.
Apart from the words 'Born Donegal' - we have no ther link.

cheers
Jack Gee

Hi Jack

Joseph Creighton was a convict to Australia onboard the Tyne in 1818. He was a house servant from Dublin so probably not related to yours in Donegal.

Cheers

Megan

John & Ann are bachelor & spinster both of the parish of Snodland.
marriage by banns
Witness' John Cogger & Frances Hadlow.

Thanks Bee - that was quick! Frances is new - so will look for her - I'm fairly certain John's father was called William.

Hi everyone - just wondering if anyone can look up a marriage in Snodland Kent - the FHL Film Number:   992535 - date is 22 September 1836 - parties are John Hadlow and Ann Wells.

Just after any additional information that might be gleaned about my forebears - witnesses, parent's names whether they were of the parish or even ages would be terrific. Thanks so much!

Regards

Thanks Sandra - Saw your personal message but I think I stuffed up the response. Will investigate further.
