He was a horse groom she was groom Kingham

Many thanks for your replies and links loads of info  ;)
I was thinking that as Benjamin and Melinda were quoted as possible tent dwellers Melinda might of been a relative or in some way related to the Romany Davis family of fod maybe they was just on hard times? I notice Ruardean woodside doesnt seem far from Lynbrook where Davis Romany family were from ?

Mornin All
Ive seen some articles on The death of Sarah Fletcher Queen of the gypsy tribes of the Forest of Dean 1940s i think?
Her surname prior to marriage was Davis another well known Romany family in the forest ive seen Davis mentioned alongside Fletcher Butler Smith Baldwin etc has anyone by chance traced  Sarahs parents or siblings ever? ive not got ancestry so any look ups or links hints would be great
According to article i see it states her age at death as 100? So much been born 1850s
after visiting me Dad and goin thru old stuff of his i see his Davis family written on bit of paper looks like it contains Merana (Miranda) and Lettice Davis (Lettuce) Davis ?
Many thanks
All the best
Dunc
