Antrim / Looking for Helena Curry

Hi I'm looking for information on Helena Curry born 1845 in Ballyclare County Antrim. There is a census 1841/1851 for her and her family but I've not been able to find it. Her father is Edward Curry also Currie and her mother is Eliza Campbell.
Glad of any help.
Thanks

Thanks Eddie as far as I know they were protestant. I know it's very hard to find Irish records. I've been told the only way to find out would be to go to Ireland myself which unforunately isn't an option. It was hard to find information about them as the spelling of the surname kept changing. They are from my mother's father's side and I also have Irish ancestors on my mother's mothers side of the family that I can't get any information on at all.

I've been trying for about 3 years to find out about my Irish ancestors but not having any luck. My maternal great grandmother Helena Corry b. 1845 came from Ballyclare Co. Antrim. Her parents were Edward Corry b. 1813 and Eliza Campbell. Helena married Thomas Taylor from Scotland but his parents were also Irish.
Hope someone will be able to help

Hi Christopher thanks for replying to this. Don't think I'll be able to find out anything about him. All I know is that he was born in Ireland and his parents names were John and a Catherine Sherry or Cherry. Got his parents namesoff his marriage certificate

Hi Eddie thanks for replying. On census her name was given as Currie but on her marriage certificate it was Corry. Think her accent must have been that broad that it was taken as Currie. She was born in Ballyclare, County Antrim but I don't know when she came to Scotland. I'm now trying to find out about her parents Edward Born 1813 in Ballclare, mother Eliza Campbell. Her siblings were Margaret 1840, Edward 1842, James, Matilda 1843, William and Thomas 1847. I can't find out anything about them.
Is there an easy way to find out about Irish ancestors as I've also got Irish ancestors on my mother's mother's side

Hi Christopher I've discovered her surname was Corry and not Currie. Will that make a difference to my search? Heather
