Free Photo Restoration & Date Old Photographs / Re: Mothers Neighbourhood gang...
« on: Monday 19 April 10 03:36 BST (UK)  »
Thank you emjaybee, you are immensely thoughtful...I really appreciate your efforts...

I know there are some things that can be done with old photographs through a darkroom...although I haven't had a darkroom in 20 years, that may be the only avebue available to improve the photo...

ANd yes, I do have Photoshop, although I haven't done much with it since I used Mac's 10 years ago...

But this does give me more to contemplate in where to go next...

Thank you all.. :)

This photo is my mothers neighbourhood gang (about 1925), and is not long for passing from this world...the image is simply dissappearing...
If anyone has a magic wand out there  :)

Thank you David...nice restore...
Sometimes I get so caught up in the colouring, that I forget just how nice the photo is in it's natural black and white  :)

Wow...Irene, Carolyn and Lones, the work done here never ceases to amaze...
Irene and Carolyn, this one certainly ranks right up with with the restores you've done for me before..You all gave new life to a somewhat drab photo...
Lones, also a wonderful restore and colour...
Thank you

HI....my dad (standing) and his cousin could really use a restore and maybe a colouring...photo about 1920, Manchester, England...
If any of you wonderfully talented people would like to take a stab at it, I'd be very grateful :)

Hi Karen...thank you so much for your efforts...they are greatly appreciated...

And sorry I took so long responding...I was vacationing in Cuba over the Holidays... 8)

Sadly, this William and Sarah Jane Hall appear to be considerably too old for the ones I need...

Mine were both born in the year 1848, and would be at least a generation younger than this couple...

I guess I will just keep hunting...but thank you so much for the help... :)

Hi Mike (gortonboy)...thank you so much for the photo's and the video...
The pictures are great but the video is even better, being able to "walk" around the gravesite and see the surroundings adds a whole new dimension...

Again, thank you
 :)And Seasons Greetings...
