There is one of the UK Dambuster still alive. Johnnie Johnson is still doing veterans days etc and has a book out.. Might be worth you contacting the International Bomber Command Centre :) http://internationalbombercommandcentre.com/

Apologies for another blatant refresh, but someone new to this wonderful site may spot something familiar and pass it on.
Runnymede annual remembrance service again in a week or two, hope to see you and say hello as usual DEE, hope all is well with all you researching folk out there.

Never forget the Bomber Boys.

Steve.
11am 8/5/16 (be there for 10.30 b4 the bigwigs arrive) and yes I will be there Steve..

By the way please let me know what Lanc Sqn he was on 😀 When you find out
Hi Thanks both. He was a rear gunner in a lancaster  with a new zealand crew I believe. His war record states he was a flight mechanic and flight sergeant. He arrived in Khormaksar in July 1946 and was there for a year.

Is your grandmother still alive? If so she can obtain her husbands record for free 😀 Here's the link:

Thanks guys. The original photo is tiny. Ivan got the pic scanned up hence the PDFs and low dpi. I will see if I can take a pic of the original to see if that helps and upload.
Thanks for the one you have done japes that's so much better than I thought could be done.

Please could you restore the attached and also look at perhaps colourising this.  We would love to find out who the gentlemen either side of WO Stanley White are and this might help. Thanks
Dee
