I am searching for George Carlyle who was born in Scotland in about 1832. I have no idea in which county.
George emigrated to Australia and later moved on to New Zealand from Melbourne in 1863.
This all the information we have on him.

I am trying to find info on a Boyle family from Ireland. I have no county name, just Ireland.

I am looking for Alexander Boyle born about 1805. He married Lucinda Sloan and they had three children, Alexander b abt 1825, Margaret abt 1841 and Mary abt 1843.
These three children emigrated to New Zealand aboard the Mermaid which left London on 30/09/1865 and arrived in Lyttleton on 01/01/1866.
Margaret appeared to be a widow or solo Mum and had her 6 year old daughter, Mary with her.
The passenger list has their ages which allowed me to work out their approx birth year. There is a large gap in years from Alexander to Margaret but he would be too young to be her father so I am presuming he be her brother.

I know this is a long shot without the knowledge of a county, but this is the reason that I am stuck - any info on any of the Boyle or Sloan families would be appreciated - Evan

I m searching for the birthplace and parents of Denis Francis McCormick born abt 1847 in Tipperary.
I have his birthplace as Cloughfordaw, but I cannot find that on a map and suspect it maybe the registration district.
The only other info I have is that he later emigrated to New Zealand.
