Hi my father has a match on My Heritage. ( tested at FTDNA). This match is a predicited 2nd cousin. 273cm.   Not found the connection, I am thinking a NPE in the match tree.
Myself and my son have uploaded to My Heritage.  We do not match this person at all?  Any therories?
This match is only on My Heritage so cannot look at any other sites.

i have a world subscription to Ancestry.  I also had a subscription to Findmypast, which has just auto renewed.  I have emailed Findmypast to cancel as I have not used it too much due to being busy with my house.  They have offered me two further months free.

My question is, I dont know whether to take this subscription or try the Genealogist.  I am quite far back in most of my trees, so I am thinking  the parish records with the Genealogist may be helpful.  But are these similar to the ones on Familysearch?

Any thoughts appreciated.

It  has  numbers on a  dial  and  account  payee.  I  cant  get  it  to  work  so  not  sure  what  it  actually does.

I  need  some  help  sorting  out  and  clearing  old  docs  at an old  solicitors  office  in  Howden. Happy  to  give  Docs  away  to committed Family Historian.  I  am  sure  there  is  some one  from Hemingbrough Howden  area   who is  a family Historian  who answers  a  lot  of  posts .   I  would  be  grateful  if  for  offers  of  help.  There  are  old  maps  with  Names on and  loads  of  old Wills   from  the  area   especially around  the  late 1800.
