Alex and Margaret were my 3 x great grandparents. Am interested in finding out the names of their children, in particular their daughter Elizabeth also known as Betsy. Am pretty sure she was the mother of Isabella the mother of my grandmother. Thank you for any help.

Canada / Roberta /Bobby Weir..disappeared early WW II

Bobby was the youngest daughter of Orin Weir and his wife Georgina. Her older siblings were Margaret,  James, Orin and Lerna Lee who was my husband's mother. Family lore was that Bobby had run away from home...Drumheller/Strathmore area around Calgary ... when just a girl. While Skyping family in BC today the story appears to be quite different. She ran off with an American serviceman at the start of the war. Lerna Lee was born in 1919 so am assuming Bobby was born 1921+. Any information on her would be appreciated. Sad that her family never heard from her again.

Found today in my parents old photos. We are originally from Elgin in the north east of Scotland and it looks like the photo was taken at ......, Avenue Studio, Elgin. Could some kind person try to date it. I have absolutely no idea who these lovely women are.

Molly married James Harry Weir. He died aged 28 in 1892. She later remarried. Family history tells us Mary was part Cherokee. Would like to know names of her parents and their birthplaces, please. Molly was my husband's great grandmother.

My mother-in-law Lerna Lee nee Weir was born in Drumheller, Alberta in January 1919/20. Her parents were Orin Weir and Georgina nee Ross/Cooper. They are both buried in Langley BC. We would like to know their dates of birth and where and when they were married. Orin's parents were James Weir and Mary nee Butler. Again we have no knowledge of dates of birth or even where they were born. We believe Georgina's mother was Margaret Cooper/Ross. My husband's family emigrated to New Zealand when he was a young boy and as his mother has ben dead for almost 30 years we have no one to ask about these details. Thank you to anyone who can help.

James Leonard Haughton was the first husband of Doris Ethel Anderson. Doris was from Queenstown and was the great aunt of my friend. Can anyone help us find where and when she married. Thanks to the good people here we now know her date of death .. September 3 1966.

New Zealand Completed Requests / Dorris/Doris Ethel Anderson

In the past great people on this board have helped solve some problems. I have a friend whose great aunt was Dorris/Doris Ethel Anderson. She was born in New Zealand on September 9 1903. Her father was from Denmark and his name was Borye Andreson later changed to Anderson. Gertrude was one of Dorris's sisters.

The family lived in Queenstown and something happened and as a result of this the family never spoke to or about Doris again. Naturally my friend would love to know about her great aunt and what happened.

Can anyone help?
