Fife / Burial place?
« on: Sunday 20 October 13 15:03 BST (UK)  »
Hi,my 3xgg John Mitchell drowned in the Mill Dam Abbotshall parish near Kirkcaldy in December 1892.The Register of Corrected Entries stated it was suicide.I would like to know where he would have been buried. From what I gather 'suicides' could be buried without gravestones or much ceremony, but i would still like to know where.Would anyone have access to registers of churches local to Kirkcaldy to find out? Thanks.

Northumberland / Cramlington pits
« on: Sunday 17 March 13 11:10 GMT (UK)  »
Does anyone know when the High Pit (Ann) and the Low Colliery (Lamb) in Cramlington closed, was it in 1950s/60s? The Durham Mining Musuem website (which covers the Northumberland pits),only has the closing date of West Cramlington pit in 1938.

Just a couple of questions about the badge.

On the rear it has a letter M and below a number stamped on,what was the number for?
