Attached Photo is believed to be of the Kennedy family. Photo taken by W.E.Perrour, Longreach,
( Qld. Aus). The male subject in the middle of the back row is believed to be my wife's Grandfather*.
Info we have on the family is; Father - Robert b1859, Mary, 1957, Children - Andrew 1886, Mary 1888, Robert 1890, James* 11892, William 1896.
The second young female is a mystery, perhaps a wife or another daughter that we are unaware of?
The photo is on 2-3mm cardboard with small radius corners. There is no other info on the front or back.

Australia / Missing Death Certificate - Jane HANLEY
« on: Wednesday 23 February 11 14:13 GMT (UK)  »
I can not find the date or place of death for Jane Hanley nee Clarke. Husband Michael Hanley.
I have searched the Index at the SAGHS , but there is no entry. I did find a burial record at the Williston Cemetery for the 1/12/1877 which I believe may be her.
I then looked at the micro fiche at SAGHS around that date and came across a blank entry which stated
" Certificate missing".
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

« on: Wednesday 04 August 10 09:29 BST (UK)  »
On the transcript of the death certificate of Francis MURRAY (DOD 14/05/1913, Bowraville, NSW, Aus) it is stated he was born in INNES KILLEN, Ireland c.1854,parents were Francis Murray and Mary Barry. He was married in ILKEY, Ireland c.1879 to Elizabeth Thompson.

Australia / Ships Passenger List -Oruba
« on: Tuesday 13 July 10 13:07 BST (UK)  »
According to PROV a Patrick Clarke aged 22 arrived in Melbourne in April 1903 on the Oruba, reference number B 698/004. The Oruba then sailed for London via Adelaide and Freemantle.
I am trying to ascertain if Patrick then travelled from Melbourne to Adelaide on this ship where he disembarked.
Is there a copy of either of these passenger list on line to enable me to obtain Patrick's place of departure and birth place.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
