Hi there,

I'm trying to find any information on Mary Smith. I do not know anything about her except from her marriage record which mentions Medbourne Leicestershire.

Samuel Barratt of Manton, in the county of Rutland and Mary Smith of Medbourne, in the county of Leicestershire were married April 18 1704. They were married in Harrington, Northamptonshire, England.

I am wondering if someone could do a look up in Medbourne for me please to see if Mary was baptised there, and if so  what date and who were her parents?

Would anyone be able to check the Leicestershire & Rutland "Strays" cd for a marriage between john Barrett/Barratt and Lucy (surname unknown) please? I have been trying to find John & Lucy's marriage in Rutland but no luck on my CD's so wondered if they married somewhere else. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thank you

I would be very grateful if anyone has the baptism records for Teigh Rutland if you could have a look for George Williamson b abt 1816 please. I have the records up to 1813 but not after then.

The census have him as born in Market Overton but I have those records and he isn't there. Other people that I suspect to be his family members were from Teigh. I'm trying to find who his parents were I think his mother was Elizabeth Williamson but I'm not 100% sure.

If anyone has a Burial index that covers Rutland I would be very grateful if you could possibly have a look for the burial for Ann Lane.

Ann was born in 1824 in Leicestershire but the family moved to Morcott. I believe her death was most likely between 1846 - 1861, as Ann had a child in 1846 and was the informant on her child's birth cert and her husband John is a widow by 1861 census....(she wasn't on the 1851 census with her husband and children so may have already died by then).

I was wondering if anyone who has access to burial records could possibly have a look for the burial of William Short in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire. I’m not sure when he died but he was not with his family on the 1841 census so may have already died by then and his wife Elizabeth is listed as a widow on the 1851 census.

William married Elizabeth Scott (b 1783) in 1809 in Melton Mowbray, their last child that I know of was born  in 1817. I was hoping any burial record may show his age so I can try to find a baptism and parent’s names for him. Any help would greatly appreciated. Thank you
